  • Sunlight: full sun/partial shade
  • Description: This is a very attractive medium growing shrub, best known for its foliage.  The leaf color emerges in the spring with bronze or red, changing to a lustrous dark green at maturity.  The leaves develop a rich reddish bronze color in the winter.  The flower color is white and has a pleasant fragrance, blooming in the spring.  This plant does best in partial shade and can be used as a foundation plant, specimen plant, or hedge.  It has a look similar to the photinia (red tip). It  thrives in the carolinas and does well with minimal care.
  • Size: 8'-10' tall with a 5' - 6' spread.
