- Description: This tree has deeply divided and dissected green leaves giving a threadlike appearance. It is an almost weeping form and a slow grower. It has bright orange-red foliage in the fall and is a very striking tree. This is a very pretty tree that looks good in small spaces, or as a specimen tree. It will tolerate full sun, however, it performs best in light shade.
