  • Sunlight: full sun /partial shade
  • Description: This is a very attractive tree with dark green foliage in summer and reddish-purple or scarlet in the fall.  It is more drought tolerant than the standard dogwood, and has white flowers approximately 2 - 3 weeks after other dogwoods have bloomed (May - June).  It has a pinkish to red fruit - resembling a raspberry in late summer, and becomes quite showy.  This is a good specimen tree or shrub, and makes a good foundation planting near the corner of the house.
  • Size: 20'-30' height and spread.
